Well, at least I wasn't a complete fuck-up, then.
[Once the snake brings his head closer, Trevor lets his hand settle carefully on top and rubs large, rough fingers against the scales of the creature.
An odd sensation.]
The snakes I've seen have always been a lot smaller than this fellow.
